Dia Dhuit a chairde, John Daly is a lover of food and the business of food, I also like helping people get on the ladder( of business and life) and keep them there. I started and developed www.johndalyfoods.com into one of the largest fresh food marketing and distribution companies in the island of Ireland with a turnover of €14m. We imported product such as Innocent smoothies, Utterly Buttery, Gu Puds, Devonshire trifles. We also were a route to market for Irish products like Old Mac Donnells Yogurt. I sold Jon Daly Foods in 2006 to Dairy Gold and during the non compete period I did and honors degree in business management and am currently completing an MBA. I since started www.irelandfood.ie selling milk and chickens to retail outlets and employ 12 people with 5 trucks and 3 vans in Mayo Galway and Roscommon. I am involved in many voluntary organisations, and am Treasurer of Galway Rape Crises Center, on the board of Western Alzheimer's, Chairman of Mayo Abbey Community council, and train u9 footballers and hurlers in Salthill GAA. I am married to Nuala and have 3 children Odhran aged 8 Neasa aged 6 and Anna aged 22 months. I love mentoring people so that they can progress and avoid mistakes that I made during my career. Mistakes such as personal guarantees to Banks, doing all the work my self and proper delegating or lack of it. I look forward to Bizcamp and hope that people find the event worth while. Thanks John
